Ted hails from the south, and has a bit of an accent to match. Since moving up north, he's proven his loyalty and his worth to his viking leader.

He's cheerful and easily underestimated, not too concerned with pride, but he can be deeply insightful and cunning. He's a gentle soul, encouraging diplomacy first, with violence as the last resort, though he's no coward. He'll always defend the innocent and defenseless.

He also takes great joy in life, bringing people together and encouraging faith and optimism. He lost his wife and child some years ago, and he's lonelier than he lets on.

He used to be a warrior himself, but an injury in his leg from when he was younger prevents him from going into battle unless absolutely necessary. Now he provides counsel, and he trains younger warriors.
